House mortage help!

My wife and I got divorced about 5 years ago in NY and her name is NOT on the house deed but she is still on the mortage...I have tried to refinance to get her off with no luck - now she is threatening me that she will call the mortage company and ask them to forclose on the house - I am on the mortage too and I have the deed - can she do this?
